LatIntel is an independent publication ran by Ryan Fernandez, a Puerto Rican NYU student, with a passion for Latin American financial markets. This project was created to fill a growing gap in localized intelligence: while Latin America is rapidly becoming a hub for Web3 innovation, fintech disruption, and AI experimentation, much of the global coverage overlooks its unique dynamics.

At LatIntel, the mission is simple:

• Surface high-signal insights on regional crypto and AI developments
• Highlight funding rounds, startup activity, and VC trends
• Contextualize Latin America’s role in the evolving global tech landscape

This is done through combining journalism, analysis, and data to keep builders, investors, and researchers informed and inspired.
